Worcestershire county council Highways act 1980, Section 96A consultation on proposal to remove tree(s) on Woodrow Drive, Redditch
Notice is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council are undertaking a consultation pursuant to Section 96A Highways Act 1980 to remove 2 Wild Cherry Trees, 2 Sycamore trees, 1 Hawthorn on Woodrow Drive, Redditch, and shown by the red markings on the plan attached. The trees are subject to a Tree Preservation Order No.26 TPO 1965. An application for their removal has been made and has been granted by the relevant planning authority.
It is proposed that the trees are removed to accommodate the construction of a new segregated cycle route and footway on Woodrow Drive. Alternative management solutions have been considered and are not practicable.Replacement tree planting is proposed in the immediate locality. 18 trees will be planted for the removal of these trees.
A plan showing these proposals may be downloaded at public notices until 17 April 2026.
