Coffee pods and capsules

Coffee pods & capsules

Coffee pods and capsules cannot be recycled in your green bin.  They must be put in your black/grey waste bin. Alternatively, many of the companies who supply coffee pods and capsules also offer a recycling returns service where you can send them back to them.

Podback offer a recycling service via drop-off points in shops and coffee shops.  Visit their website to register and receive a bag for saving the pods in.  These bags are then taken to retailers who recycle them.

Coffee grounds can be included in your compost bin at home, but please do not put the whole capsules i as these are made up of foil and plastic so will not rot down.
