A new Best Start Family Hub will open on Wednesday, 1 April and everyone is invited to come along and enjoy a fun afternoon for all the family.
Families can visit the new hub between 1pm and 3:00pm at Birchen Coppice Primary School in Kidderminster.
Family Hubs are a welcoming place that offers support to all expectant parents, children, young people and their families. They provide a single place to go for support and information from a variety of services, including parenting groups, midwifery appointments, stay and play sessions and much more.
The event will include a range of free activities for families to enjoy, including an Easter egg hunt. Local music group, The Coppice Shanty Crew, will also perform family friendly sea shanty songs in their own unique style.
A range of local organisations will be on hand to offer advice and support. These include:
- Healthy Worcestershire team
- Health and Sustainability Wyre Forest
- HELP
- Kemp Hospice
- Kidderminster Libraries
- Melo Mind
- Simply Limitless
- Smoke Free Homes
- The finance team at Wyre Forest District Council
You don’t need to book, just turn up and enjoy the fun. Everyone is welcome. The hub is for all families, not just families who go to Birchen Coppice Primary School.
The event takes place from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Birchen Coppice Primary Academy, Woodbury Road, Kidderminster, DY11 7JJ.
