Early bird pricing ends soon for Wythall and Hollywood Fun Run

Sign up before midnight on Monday 30 March and get the early bird rate for the 5K, 10K and Families on Track races.

The Wythall and Hollywood Fun Run is a friendly, welcoming event for everyone. Whether you run regularly, are just getting started, or simply want a great day out with family and friends. This community focused fun run has something for all.

This year also sees the launch of a new 10K route, taking runners through even more beautiful countryside. All runners start together, creating a great atmosphere and plenty of encouragement. The routes then split, with the 5K staying fairly flat.

The event, supported by world champion and Olympic medallist Steve Cram and the Events of the North team, includes a 5k and 10k run, and a Families on Track relay race, making it perfect for runners of all abilities and ages.

If you haven’t run before but have always fancied trying it, it’s not too late to start the NHS Couch to 5k programme and graduate at the fun run. Couch to 5k helps people gradually work up towards running 5km in just 9 weeks. The programme starts with a mix of running and walking to gradually build up your fitness and stamina.

Councillor Satinder Bell, Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing at Worcestershire County Council, added: “The Wythall and Hollywood Fun Run is about much more than taking part in a race. It brings people together, strengthens community spirit, and inspires healthier ways of living. We are grateful to all our partners whose hard work and enthusiasm play such an important role in making this event a success.”

To make this year extra special, runners will be awarded a newly designed metal medal. It’s a distinctive keepsake to celebrate their achievement.
