The November SEND update is now available on the SEND Local Offer website.
Here’s what’s included:
- Worcestershire’s draft Self-Evaluation document
The draft Self-Evaluation reviews how well local SEND services are working and highlights strengths and areas for improvement. A shorter, easy-read version will follow once the full document is finalised, and parent carers can share feedback on the current draft via a short online form, by 7 December. - Support while waiting for your health appointment – website feedback
NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire’s “Support While You Wait” webpages offer advice, resources and local support for families facing long waits for health appointments. A short survey is now available for families to give feedback and suggest improvements, - SENDIASS new webinars for parent carers
SENDIASS will deliver three new free webinars in early 2026: A Guide to SEND, How to have an effective meeting, and Introduction to dyslexia - with daytime and evening options. Booking is open, and further training is available on the SENDIASS website. - School White Paper on SEND
The national SEND Schools White Paper has been delayed to early 2026, but Worcestershire continues to progress local SEND improvements, including changes to the way health waiting lists are managed.
