Worcestershire Local Area Partnership has created a 'self evaluation' document about our services for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
The self-evaluation is produced using the key themes of the Ofsted SEND Inspection Framework. This document reviews services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and is central to the inspection process. It has been developed together with partners, practitioners, parent carers, and children and young people. It brings together views on current practice to recognise positive signs of progress and identify the areas we need to get better.
The Self-Evaluation Framework (SEF) is used by Ofsted to evaluate our services – which results in it being a long and detailed document. We understand this will not be accessible for everyone and will therefore be developing a shorter, easy-read version. We can’t do this until the full self-evaluation is finalised so will share it when it’s been developed.
Read the SEND self evaluation document.
If you have any feedback for the Local Area Partnership on the detailed version of Worcestershire’s self-evaluation, please share your thoughts using this short feedback form.
We appreciate all feedback on the self-evaluation and will carefully consider it as we finalise the document. While we may not be able to include every suggestion, your input is valuable in shaping our approach.
The survey will be open until the end of Sunday 7 December 2025.
