We would like to invite children and young people to our SEND and Alternative Provision (AP) partnership event, to share their views about services for children and young people with SEND in Worcestershire.
- Date and time: Thursday 16 April, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm
- Location: Graeme Hick Pavillion, Worcestershire County Cricket Club, New Road, Worcester, WR2 4QQ
- Open to: Children and young people (up to the age of 25 years), with a special education need and/or disability
- Refreshments: A meal and snacks will be provided for children and young people, and light refreshments for accompanying adults
Leaders from the SEND Local Area Partnership (including the County Council and NHS) are working to improve services for children and young people with SEND. They would like to meet young people and share partnership outcomes for SEND children and young people in Worcestershire and would like to know what these outcomes mean to you. They would like to understand your experiences.
Young people from the Voices United forum will also attend, so that you can find out more about what they do and what it means to be a member.
You will also hear an update on what is happening across Worcestershire, including information about the recently published SEND White Paper.
This event is a great opportunity to hear directly from local leaders, ask questions and share your views.
Please note: Children and young people must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We have a maximum capacity of 170 people (this includes young people and accompanying adults). Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Schools or other organisations bringing groups must ensure they meet the required child to adult ratio.
If you would like to attend, please complete this form to express your interest by the 6th April 2026. We will then get in touch with you to book a place.
