Worcestershire is set to celebrate innovation, technology and digital skills as TechFest 2.0 returns this February with an even bigger and more engaging two-week programme of events across the county.

Organised by Worcestershire Growth Hub, Midlands Cyber, BetaDen and Worcestershire County Council, the festival builds on the success of last year’s inaugural event, which attracted more than 500 attendees and generated strong regional interest.

The festival officially launches on Monday 16 February and is open to the public at Worcester Guildhall, introducing TechFest 2026’s vision, themes, and programme. Attendees can hear guest speakers, explore an innovation-focused exhibition, connect with businesses and start-ups, and discover opportunities to engage with Worcestershire’s tech and innovation community.

Festival highlights include a dynamic AI conference, inspiring Women in Technology & Innovation events, interactive Digital Marketing workshops designed to help businesses thrive, and the BetaDen Technology Showcase, spotlighting Worcestershire’s most exciting and cutting-edge innovations.

A major new addition for 2026 is the launch of the Worcestershire Innovation Champion Award, recognising businesses and individuals making a positive impact through innovative thinking.

Councillor Alan Amos, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Business and Skills at Worcestershire County Council, said: “I’m proud to see Worcestershire TechFest return following last year’s success. It is quickly becoming a flagship moment in our county’s innovation calendar bringing together businesses, educators, entrepreneurs and communities to celebrate the ideas and talent driving our future.

From start-ups to global manufacturers, from students to industry leaders, TechFest shows that Worcestershire is a place where innovation thrives. We want everyone to feel inspired, get involved, and see the opportunities being created right here on their doorstep.”

TechFest aims to shine a spotlight on Worcestershire’s growing reputation as a hub for technology, cyber, advanced manufacturing and digital innovation, while inspiring the next generation of talent.
