Residents and stakeholders are invited to take part in an online public information sharing webinar about the A38 Bromsgrove Route Enhancement Programme (BREP), a predominantly Department for Transport (DfT) funded project aimed at improving journeys, safety and reliability in and around Bromsgrove.
The BREP live webinar will take place on Thursday 29 January, from 6.00pm to 7.30pm, and will be hosted via Microsoft Teams Live. Members of the public can join remotely using the link that will be live on the A38 BREP webpage ahead of the session.
The webinar has been organised to ensure as many people can watch live as possible and also, the session can be viewed at any time after it has finished, for those that were unable to make the session. This format has been used many times for similar updates and has received positive feedback.
The session will begin with a short presentation outlining the programme, followed by a public question-and-answer session. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions to the project panel in advance of the event, as well as during the webinar.
Questions can be submitted via www.slido.com using the code #A38BREP. Any questions that are already covered by the Frequently Asked Questions on the BREP website will have a link provided on Slido under that question.
The panel will bring together a broad range of technical knowledge and expertise, including representatives from Worcestershire County Council, Jacobs, and Colas (construction contractor), who will discuss the programme and respond to questions.
Councillor Karl Perks, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Highways and Transport at Worcestershire County Council said: “The A38 Bromsgrove Route Enhancement Programme is an important project designed to address long-standing transport challenges in the area. This webinar is a valuable opportunity for residents to hear directly from the project team, understand the work in more detail, and ask questions about the programme. If you are unable to make webinar, you will be able to view at any time after the event.”
Further information about the project, including answers to frequently asked questions, can be found on the the A38 BREP webpage of our website.
