Lord-Lieutenant's Cadets
Each year, the Lord-Lieutenant appoints 3 to 4 young people to serve as her Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets.
Cadets are drawn from the Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, the Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Force. They assist the Lord-Lieutenant as required (often on parade for Royal visits) and they act as ambassadors for their organisations.
The 2026 to 2027 Cadets are:
- Able Cadet Lewis Lines – Sea Cadet Corps
- Cadet Sgt Amaya Faulkner – CCF Royal Marine Cadets
- Cadet Sgt Logan Clarke – Army Cadet Force
- Cadet Sgt Matthew Brown – RAF Air Cadets
