Resident contact adult social care

Resident contact adult social care

For support with wellbeing information, advice and guidance, referral to community services or Adult Social Care.

How to get in touch

You can send us a self‑assessment to help us understand your situation. This also gives you quick access to useful local and national support.

Complete a self‑assessment

A self‑assessment lets you describe your needs in your own words. You will answer some simple questions about your health and wellbeing.

How the self‑assessment works:

  • You can complete the self‑assessment yourself
  • A friend or relative can do it for you if you agree to it
  • Someone with Lasting Power of Attorney can also complete it on your behalf.

You will be asked questions about your daily life and the support you may need. Based on your answers, we will direct you to information, advice and services that are tailored to your needs.

Report suspected abuse or neglect

We all have the right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. Safeguarding in Worcestershire responds to concerns about abuse and neglect in relation to adults who:

  • require care and support (whether or not the local authority is meeting any of those needs)
  • are experiencing, or at risk of, abuse or neglect; and
  • as a result of their care and support needs are unable to protect themselves from either the risk of, or the experience of abuse or neglect
