Wychavon SEND training

We will be visiting local community venues in Pershore, Evesham and Droitwich to deliver three free training workshops to local families.

Working in partnership with Wychavon District Council we will be visiting local community venues in Pershore, Evesham and Droitwich to deliver three free training workshops to local families.

The following workshops will be delivered in each community area during January to March 2026.

Workshops

What does a good Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) look like?

Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) are a key tool in ensuring young people with SEND get the right support in education. This free interactive workshop is designed to help parents and carers understand what makes an EHCP effective, how to engage in the process, and how to advocate for their child’s needs.

What you need to know if your child has an additional need or disability

Understanding the SEND system can be complex, but knowing your rights and the available support can make all the difference. This free interactive workshop provides parents and carers with essential knowledge about SEND processes, education support, and how to navigate services effectively.

Supporting your child to cope with change (Transitions)

Changes and transitions within a child’s life can create uncertainty. They can be small things like finishing playing a game to get ready for dinner to big things like starting a new school. This free, interactive workshop will provide parents and carers with strategies and resources to support their child through changes.
