About the project

The early help team would like to create a video on a new part of their service called ‘family network meetings’. They would like young people to help think of ideas for the video and ideas for a script. 

Outputs

What we are doing and what we have done:

  • promote this project to children and young people within the Voices network and Voices United forum to see who would like to participate
  • organise a meeting with early help workers and children and young people
  • first meeting took place on 4 Feb, ideas were shared and another meeting will be held soon

Outcomes

What this relates to:

  • I am listened to, understood and involved in decisions about my life
  • I am helped to be healthy in my mind and body
  • I feel safe and supported

The family network meetings are a process for the whole family. By including children and young people in the creation of this video, they will be able to understand the process and feel included in the process. 

Impact

The difference this makes to policies, services and workforce:

  • once this video is developed, it will help families to understand the process.
  • the service will be able to share this video on their social media and in newsletters to help support with the implementation
