If you’re struggling, you don’t have to cope with it alone. Reach out for support.

If life feels too hard and you’re in crisis, you shouldn’t have to manage it alone. Remind yourself that you won’t feel this way forever. This page has links to urgent support and tools you can use to keep yourself safe.

Urgent mental health support

For urgent support:

  • call 999 if you can’t keep yourself or others safe
  • dial NHS 111, then press option 2 for urgent help
  • phone the Samaritans on 116 123 or visit their website here: Samaritans Here to listen

Other help and support is available, including through text and email:

  • text ‘SHOUT’ to 85258 for free confidential mental health support
  • call HOPELINE UK on 0800 068 41 41 or text 88247 to speak to an adviser to keep you safe from suicide
  • Worcestershire Safe Haven provides telephone support and face-to-face appointments if you’re experiencing a mental health crisis, see: Worcestershire Safe Haven or call: 01905 600 400 (6:00pm to 1:00am, last calls 12:20am)
