Upcoming training sessions

Introducing participation and co-production

This is the first course in the programme. It is for practitioners who want to strengthen the voice of young people and adults in their organisation. The course is introduced through the experiences of young people with SEND, but the learning applies to all groups.

Upcoming sessions:

  • 15 April, 3:45pm to 5:45pm, online
  • 28 April, 3:45pm to 5:45pm, online
  • 11 June, 3:45pm to 5:45pm, online

Methods to gather the authentic voice of young people

This course builds on Introducing Participation and Co-production. It explores different techniques to understand people’s views.
Although it focuses on approaches suited to young people with SEND, the methods are suitable for everyone. You will explore good practice for meetings, creative ways to collect opinions and how personal stories can explain lived experience.

Upcoming sessions:

  • 5 May, 3:45pm to 4:45pm, online
  • 23 June, 3:45pm to 4:45pm, online

How to make sure everyone can contribute

This course helps you plan how to involve all stakeholders. Children, young people and adults all have valuable insights to share. You will consider who to invite, how to create a safe space for sharing and how to use the information you collect.

Upcoming sessions:

  • 14 May, 3:45pm to 4:45pm, online
  • 1 July, 3:45pm to 4:45pm, online

What you could introduce in your organisation

Upcoming sessions:

  • 19 May, 3:45pm to 4:45pm, online
  • 9 July, 3:45pm to 4:45pm, online
